Yellowstone National Park is nearly 3,500 square miles of wilderness recreation area atop a volcanic hot spot. Mostly in Wyoming, the park spreads into parts of Montana and Idaho. Yellowstone features dramatic canyons, alpine rivers, lush forests, hot springs and geysers, including its most famous, Old Faithful. It's also home to hundreds of animal species including bears, wolves, bison, elk and antelope.

Winter Activities

While much of the park activity slows during the winter months, there is still fun to be had! Take a tour of the park on snowmobiles and witness the awesome grandeur of the hot spring steam rising out of the ground amidst the land covered in snow!
