Your own private hideaway is waiting for you in Bozeman.  The Grassy Ridge Lodge is just moments away from Bridger Canyon.  Enjoy a true Montana experience on 30 pristine mountain acres with waist high grass, abundant flowers and wildlife.  The house is nestled in a secluded valley featuring gorgeous views of the Bridger and Bangtail Mountains.

Grassy Ridge Lodge is just 25 minutes outside Bozeman, with its great restaurants, cultural attractions, and the Gallatin Valley airport.  For the outdoor-lovers and adventure-seekers, this property offers many activities, and is in close proximity to the following attractions:
  • Bridger Bowl’s famous “cold smoke” powder skiing and the Bohart Ranch’s cross country ski trails are just 6 miles away.

  • Fishing is just a short strike away.  Be sure to try lots of different waters while you are here: 
    • 12 miles to the Shields River
    • 24 miles to the Yellowstone River
    • 30 miles to the Gallatin River
    • 40 miles to the Madison River

  • Yellowstone National Park is only an hour and a half away via a beautiful drive down the world-famous Paradise Valley.

  • Livingston, home of the famous Livingston Round-up Rodeo, is just 40 minutes away.

  • River-rafting, climbing, and horseback riding are all nearby.
     
  • And, right outside your front door, there is great hiking including a system of mountain bike trails featured in the “Fat Trax Bozeman” guidebook.
Whatever adventure you choose, the Grassy Ridge Lodge is always relaxing to come home to, coming around a bend into your own private 30-acre valley like Butch and Sundance returning to Hole in the Wall.  Mixing the best of the old and new, the décor includes old-world antiques, comfy furniture, and all the modern amenities.  Guests have two options:

3 BEDROOM / MAIN HOUSE OPTION
• A cozy living room, with nap-inducing sofas, Victorian antiques, cathedral ceilings and a big stone hearth looking out on Sacagawea Peak
• Wonderful eat-in gourmet kitchen, fully-stocked with everything you need, a solid teak dining table that seats 6 (can be expanded to 10 by inserting an extra leaf), plus two-way views of both sunrises over the property's grassy ridge and sunsets over the mountains
• 3 bedrooms and 3 baths, comfortably sleeping six people, including a Master Suite with a skylight for gazing up at the Big Sky stars
• The grand master bathroom includes an old-style tub looking out into the trees and Battle Ridge beyond
• Satellite TV, high-speed broadband, washer & dryer
• Hot tub set amidst the trees with views of the Bridger Mountains
• Large rear deck, great for barbeques, with a solid wood dining table for outdoor large group dining (seats up to 10)
• The front porch catches the morning sun and has a table and chairs for your wake-up coffee
• A gazebo, way out at the end of the ridge, has dramatic 270 degree views and is perfect for reading a book or watching the sunset
• House library and guest book including all the guidebooks you need to find your way around

5 BEDROOM / CARRIAGE HOUSE OPTION – The adjacent carriage house (approx. 30 feet away from the main house) is great for family reunions or other large groups looking for "together yet separate" space, including all of the above plus:

• A huge "great room" with lots of room for family games or just kicking back on the comfy sofas around the wood stove with its stone hearth
• Another 2 bedrooms and 2 baths (for a total of 5 bedrooms and 5 baths comfortably sleeping a total ten people)
• Half-kitchen with sink and fridge - great for making snacks and drinks without bothering the folks in the main house
• A secluded wood-panelled office, with wi-fi internet access
• Includes a second Master Suite, with views of the Bangtail Mountains and en-suite bathroom, also with views.

To ensure the comfort of all our guests, pets are not permitted. Skunk Creek Guest House is a smoke-free property.

This property may be rented on a nightly basis with a 3 night minimum. There is a 15% upcharge on the rate for stays less than 1 week.

Weekly Rate: $1950.00
Security Deposit: $600.00
Carriage House also available. - Additional $1000.00

A 7% state accommodation tax is not included in the lodging rates. Rates subject to change without notice. No pets or smoking please.
