Lookfar Lodge
Lookfar Lodge is within a twelve minute drive to Main Street in Bozeman yet has a view of the Gallatin Valley that is remarkable. It is located on the edge of the Bridger Mountains just north of Bozeman. The house is easily accessible to two ski slopes, Big Sky (an hour away) and Bridger Bowl, a favorite of the locals with excellent skiing at all levels (twenty minutes). Several hiking trails are within five to ten minutes. You will be a short drive to several rivers including the East Gallatin, Gallatin, Madison, the Shields and the Yellowstone for the best fly fishing in the country. The immediate area has a plethora of activities for every person including cross country skiing, snowshoeing, a golf course within five minutes of the house, hiking, excellent restaurants, Museum of the Rockies, and hiking. Plus the house invites just relaxing on the large deck relishing the view.

Lookfar Lodge is about ten years old and has been updated with a new deck, granite counter tops and some new appliances. There are two bedrooms and two baths on the main level with an open area between the bedrooms. Off the great room is a large deck with a hot tub overlooking the town of Bozeman and the Gallatin Valley. The upstairs is air conditioned which can be useful on hot summer afternoons (although the evenings are usually delightful as the day cools off). The basement level has two more bedrooms. There is also another great room area with a TV, pool table, and small refrigerator. The house is large, well equipped and can accommodate up to 15 comfortably which is great for groups.
The house is well stocked with books about Yellowstone, fly fishing and hiking trails. There are also some maps of the area. Internet service and a printer/fax machine are available. There are some games for the family to play and toys for the younger children are in a downstairs bedroom closet. For infants and toddlers, there is a car seat, port-a-crib, stroller and baby pack back. You can even play horseshoes on the side of the house!

RATES
This property may be rented on a nightly basis with a 3 night minimum. There is a 15% upcharge on the rate for stays less than 1 week.
